Anima Traits Battle Archetypes & Roles
Each Anima is assigned one of nine combat traits that define their role in battle. These traits determine how an Anima behaves in combat and what function they serve in your team strategy.
Single-target physical damage dealers, focused on eliminating key targets
AoE or explosive damage, with skills that deal damage over time, knockback, or stun
Strong 1v1 combatants, often with healing, crowd control immunity, or resource requirements
Specializes in forced displacement (charge, pull), large-scale crowd control, and trading defense for offense
Tank role, protecting backline damage dealers
Excels at traps, turrets, summoning, global vision, ally enhancement, or terrain alteration
High mobility, increased speed for capturing objectives
Pure healer/buff support, focused on team health and enhancements
Provides powerful team-wide passive bonuses

These traits are not just flavor labels — they're the official class system for Animas. Each trait determines whether an Anima is better at damage dealing, tanking, healing, or supporting, similar to roles in MOBAs or RPGs.
